Benjamin KingsberryBenjamin Kingsberry AAPI/CPV (B.App.Sc)

Property Consultant

I've been involved in the real estate industry for as long as I can remember, from selling cans of soft drink at commodity auctions as a child, to moving to Brisbane and working as a registered property Valuer after graduating from QUT, the real estate industry has been a constant in my life. Like most people, I've spent some time ‘Down South' and in moving back ‘Up North' and joining my parents in business I've made a long term commitment to Townsville - where else can you find such a fantastic lifestyle?... although if someone could find somewhere to snowboard a little closer to home that'd be great!

I have an absolute commitment to providing everybody I deal with an unrivalled real estate experience while upholding the values of honesty and integrity which are synonymous with the Kingsberry name. I believe that the property industry has become an industry where "We do it this way, because that's how it's always been done" and I think it's time someone challenged this concept by taking a fresh approach, and simply doing it better!

Nev KingsberryNev Kingsberry

Principal

Townsville is in my blood. Having been born, raised and educated here more years ago than it seems, I have experienced first hand the changing face of our great city. I always had an interest in property and spent some twenty eight years administering the estates of others at the Public Trustee before taking ownership, with my wife Rosemary, of Brownhill Kirk Realty, the oldest established Real Estate company in Townsville. That was a very proud day for both of us as we faced a challenging future with excitement, confidence in our ability to make it work and a sense of urgency heightened by having three small children and soon to be four under seven.

When I took over this respected small business in 1984, I worked tirelessly to grow and modernise it. It's no secret that I thoroughly enjoy commodity auctioneering which draws bidders from well outside the local area. I'm not sure that it's true that some attend for the jokes and repartee but I can attest that, no matter how long or tiring the day, everyone remains alert, interested and in good spirits throughout. The end result is always a successful auction, satisfied client and an enjoyable time for all.

If I have a regret it would be that I did not go into business earlier. However, any regret is eclipsed by the years of satisfaction and enjoyment in building a well recognized and respected name based on old fashioned values of hard work, honesty, integrity and commitment to our Aussie heritage of a fair go for all.

I am a proud person, proud of my wonderful family, proud of Kingsberry Property and the wonderful team of people who work with me there and proud that a core of those original clients of 1984 are still with us today. I am also quietly chuffed, ok, maybe not so quietly, that our son Ben has now joined the business and offers a younger mindset together with his knowledge and experience based on the same values I have always espoused.

Rosemary KingsberryRosemary Kingsberry

Director / Body Corporate Manager

For the past twenty years I have been working in our business, building and managing Kingsberry Body Corporate Management. Previously I was a secondary teacher and taught in high schools across the state. I am a born and bred Townsvillean and proud of it. I loved teaching and hence, when committing to the business meant changing careers for the long term it was important to me not only to succeed but also to continue to enjoy interacting with others and to set the bar high in relation to professional and service standards. In the early years it was important to maintain a balance between family and work as we raised four wonderful children, two boys and two girls who are now well educated and successful adults but more importantly good and interesting people whose company I always enjoy. Our family has now expanded to include our much loved daughter in law, son in law and two gorgeous grandsons.

Throughout my life I have always enjoyed people. Those who know me will agree that I love a chat. What better forum than a body corporate meeting! I strongly believe that one must have a thirst for knowledge and new skills in order to learn and to grow.

When I was a very young my father, who passed when I was 18, wrote in my autograph book (a must have at that time): "Always turn your face towards the sun and the shadows fall behind you". This and my Mother's well known expression: "I'd rather wear out than rust out" and the inherent character reflected in these expressions have been very strong contributory factors to my work ethic, direct no nonsense approach and determination to get things done.

Accounts Administrator, Kingsberry Body Corporate Management

For more than six years I have been a member of the Kingsberry team and have found my work here interesting, challenging and fulfilling since I have always loved working with accounting where attention to detail is so important and unforgiving. I am particular, perhaps some may say pedantic, which is as it should be when handling and caring for the business of others. Honesty and integrity are core values in my life and it is rewarding to work with people who share these values.

I have been involved with community activities all my life and while I originate from the other side of the Tasman, my husband, myself and our three sons have been active in the Townsville Soccer community for many years. We are passionate about the sport and the well being of the players and organisation. While our involvement is time consuming and at times demanding we enjoy the work and gain a quiet satisfaction from our efforts. Time spent with family and good friends is always enjoyable and refreshing.

At KBCM I work closely with Rosemary and other team members to ensure that our clients and stakeholders are well serviced and aware of their importance to us.

Administration Manager

I was born and grew up in a small beachside town. Growing up in that small town was fabulous as most week-ends were spent at one of the many beautiful beaches that surround the town either swimming, playing in the sand, collecting shells or fishing. Great memories.

Upon leaving school I went into office work and have worked my way from Office Clerk to Office Manager. Along the way I got married and have two children, whom are now all grown up and I have two gorgeous grand daughters.

I have 37 years experience in Administration, 20 of those years have been in Real Estate. In my role as Administration Manager I oversee the office staff as well as being responsible for the Trust Account, Sales, Financial Reports, Wages and General Accounting.

I enjoy working in Real Estate, the people I work with are fantastic, the people you meet, the people you help is very satisfying but it can also be very challenging.

Hi my name Is Doreen Charity I am...........of age . ( A lady never tells her true age). I moved to Townsville in January 2000 with my husband Jeff who is in the Air-force and my 3 sons, Greg, Chris & Mitchell. I Started working as a real estate agent on April 10 2000, on my birthday, of course I will never forget that date, and I have never looked back since. Before I became a real estate agent I was working in the hospitality industry. In my working life as a real estate agent I have worked for a very well know brand real estate agency for over 8 years and in this time won over 100 awards though out Queensland. I changed real estate agency's once I felt I had learnt as much as I could. I am now working for Kingsberry Property, where I have had the opportunity to further my knowledge from Nev and Rosemary Kingsberry as they have both been in the industry for a very, very, very long time. I have learnt a lot from both Nev and Rosemary over the time I have worked for Kingsberry property and I now have a much better knowledge of the rental and Body Corporate side of the real estate industry.

Real estate is one of my main interest and passion in life beside my family of course. I am very lucky every morning to get up and live my passion and earn a very good living from it, not many people get the chance in life to get paid for what they love to do. I have made a long term commitment to Real estate in Townsville - where else can you find such a fantastic lifestyle?...

My philosophy of real estate is to treat everyone I deal with, in a way I would want to be treated. This is with honesty and being up front. I will always treat all my clients the same whether they are selling or buying a $100,000 or a $2,000,000 property every client is equal - and you know that old saying 'Don't' judge a book by its cover!' I am not perfect but I will do my best to help with your needs so If you are looking for an agent who is honest, very friendly, chatty and will do her best to help then please contact me.
